Google App: Neues Update beseitigt Absturz-Problem
In den vergangenen Tagen gab es ja die Meldung, dass bei einigen Usern die Google App unvermindert plötzlich abstürzte. Es gab zwar einen Workaround, um das Problem erstmal zu lösen, doch nun rollt Google auch den entsprechenden Fix für das Problem aus.
Google verteilt aktuell die Version 12.24 der Google App und die soll das Problem plötzlicher Abstürze dann auch beseitigen. Die Aktualisierung wird ab sofort verteilt. In den nächsten Stunden solltet ihr also keine Probleme mehr haben.
Im Support hat Google dann auch die entsprechenden Anweisungen für die User, welche die App deaktiviert haben beziehungsweise das Update manuell aufspielen wollen:
If you have disabled the app, you will see the button. Tap it, then tap Update. If you don’t see the Update button, please try again in a few hours.
- Open the Play Store app.
- Search for “Google app”
- Tap Update.
- If you have disabled the app, you will see the Enable button. Tap it, then tap Update.
- If you don’t see the Update button, please try again in a few hours.
